Our Senior Dance Company took you to The Asylum back in 2021 and now they are back and ready to explore the cultural stereotypes of living in less privileged areas in our cities. Many pre-conceptions often associated with these places involve unemployment, high crime, antisocial behaviour, gang activity and drug and alcohol abuse but are they fair or are ‘estates’ in Britain council estates still the traditional close-knit communities they once were, whose residents are ready to help each other when times are hard.
This production explores sensitive issues and uses bad language throughout. Not suitable for a younger audience.
