RARE Productions, the UK's largest youth musical theatre production company, present FAME - THE MUSICAL. The show was inspired by the Oscar winning film and the hugely successful TV series. It follows the lives of a group of students from differing backgrounds and cultures who are attending New York's High School for the Performing Arts..the FAME school. The show charts the successes and struggles, the enthusiasm and the talents of the pupils from their initial audition through four years of hard work to graduation. With well known songs such as Hard Work, Bring on Tomorrow and the title song itself, coupled with loads of exciting and energetic dance routines, this really is a production that all young people with an interest in musical theatre will want to be a part of.

She has also become a mental health campaigner and gained a Masters degree in Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy from Oxford University. This event is a follow up to her sell out touring show, and best-selling book, 'Sane New World', which helps us understand why we sabotage our sanity with our own thinking. The Forum is an opportunity to engage in discussion with Ruby to explore further the power of mindfulness practice and how it can be applied in daily life. Bobby Davro made his television debut in 1981, but it wasn't until 1983 that he made his television breakthrough at Live from Her Majesty's followed by appearances on the television show, Who Do You Do?. Between 2007 and 2008, Bobby played Vinnie Monks in the BBC One soap EastEnders, Bobby also appeared on a variety of television shows, mostly with ITV, throughout the 80s and 90s. Bobby's popularity was at its highest during the mid 80s with his own Saturday night ITV shows; Bobby Davro on the Box, Bobby Davro's TV Annual and Bobby Davro's TV Weekly. Bobby went on to make two more shows with ITV; Davro's Sketch Pad and Davro in 1990. The 90s saw Bobby switching channels to the BBC, appearing on television shows such as Public Enemy Number One and the talent show The Heat Is On.
